+WORSHIP | IN-PERSON or ONLINE | 9:30 AM+
To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind is to reflect God’s mercy in responding to one’s neighbor. That mercy found its most profound expression in the “gospel that has come to you”—namely the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That gospel mercy comes to us again today: at the font, at the table, and from the pulpit. It is very near to you.

Readings for this Sunday
Show me your ways, O LORD, and teach me your paths. (Ps. 25:4)
Read our in person worship protocols here
We continue to worship in a hybrid fashion. Please worship in the manner which is best for your household. Although we no longer require advance signup for in-person worship, please check in with a greeter as you arrive (for contact tracing purposes if needed). If a change needs to be made to this plan, we will notify you via email.
In order to help our worship services run smoothly, we need your help. There are a variety of ways you can be of service including: online greeter, cantor, special music offering, welcome team, usher, lector, technology team, assisting minister, and altar guild. We are in need of more people to help out. Please contact the office (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We still have a few of the t-shirts we designed and ordered last year. If you didn’t order one but would like one, they are $9 and are currently available in these colors…gold (1), iris blue (1), and Carolina blue (4). All are adult large. It’s first come first served. Send an email with the color (s) you want to email@example.com.
The Trinity website has recently been updated!
Please check out our new look and new logo! Our website refresh was designed by FaithGrowth and our logo was created by Catherine Kapikian. We plan to have a discussion around the imagery in our logo in the near future. Magnets are available. Take one and share one! www.trinityelca.org
As many of you heard at the semi-annual congregational meeting or read in the most recent Trinitarian, Trinity has entered into a time of discernment during which we will be gathering information to guide our decisions for our future. We have hired a ministry coach named Michelle Snyder, through Center for Healthy Churches. You will be hearing more about this in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, we want to share some logistics for your planning purposes. In mid-July we will be gathering information through an assessment tool. Please fill it out truthfully and fully. We will be having a congregational conversation following worship on August 28th to talk about dreams, visions, concerns. This will all be facilitated by Michelle. More information to come!
Coffee Hour Hosts Needed!
Nothing elaborate is needed…we need folks to make/put out the coffee, and provide light snacks. On Sundays before our monthly food drive we will have “Hunger Sunday” as a simple reminder of food insecurity in the world. Hunger Sunday coffee hour will be limited to coffee, juice and water – no snacks. Hosting involves simple set up and tidying up afterwards. To select a Sunday that is convenient for you, a Sign Up Genius has been set up for future Sundays; please use this link to sign up https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050e4caba82f4-coffee If you have questions or need help signing up, reach out to Margaret F at firstname.lastname@example.org or Chelsea Y at email@example.com

Eagle Project with Trinity to Support Refugees
On Saturday, July 16, Matthew B will be leading Trinity members and friends in making personal hygiene kits for Lutheran World Relief. Matthew is asking for donations of individually wrapped bars of soap and toothbrushes for the kits. His goal is to make at least 200 kits. Starting on Sunday, June 26, there will be donation bins in Trinity’s Social Hall on Sunday mornings to collect these items. Matthew has applied for a grant from Trinity’s MEF to purchase towels and has already received special donations of combs and nail clippers. Matthew also invites everyone to come out and help assemble these kits on Saturday, July 16th, from 10 am to 1 pm. If you have questions, please ask Matthew or email his mother.
