Whether it is exploring the scriptures for their meaning in our lives today, supporting and celebrating milestones as our youth grow and live out their faith, or joining in both formal and informal small group gatherings, walk in – or click on – and connect with us as you feel called and comfortable. A few of the options are described below. Also, should you decide to abide with us, know that we have loving members trained to be present and offer their support as you face life challenges.

Faith Formation
Adults
The centerpiece of our adult faith formation is our Adult Forum. The Adult Forum chooses various topics to discuss in the light of our faith. Often, a book of the Bible will be discussed at length, across several sessions. Sometimes a guest speaker discusses a particular topic, often in conjunction with projects led by the Social Ministry committee. Recent topics have focused on food insecurity in Montgomery County, refugee ministries, and becoming more welcoming and affirming of our LGBTQIA+ siblings.
Adult Forum currently meets Sundays immediately following in-person worship services at 10:45 a.m. in person at the church and via Zoom. All are invited to participate in the conversation! If you would like to learn more please contact the church office.
Children and Youth
Sunday School

Sunday School for children, ages 3 years – 6th grade, meets immediately following Sunday in-person worship services at 10:45 a.m. during the academic year (Sept-June). Our teachers use the Whirl curriculum which connects to the lessons used to worship. We use crafts, hands-on-activities, and discussion to help enhance your children’s faith.
Celebrating the Faith Journey
At Trinity, we encourage and support our children and youth on their faith journey by celebrating with their families milestones and transitions in their lives and providing instruction about God’s purpose for us in these moments. These milestones include various events associated with formal education such as starting kindergarten and the beginning of each school year.
They also include growing in our ability to access and participate in the Word of God by distributing Bibles at different ages and reading levels. First Communion is celebrated with those whose parents feel they are ready to receive Communion.
Finally, we recognize those times our youth begin to make their own way in the world, sending them with blessings and prayers for their safety as they become new drivers and their continued growth as they graduate from high school.
Confirmation Instruction
We offer Confirmation instruction for 7th and 8th graders. These Biblical exploratory conversations allow young people to actively engage in their faith and to affirm their baptism.
To learn more, please contact Anita Smallin.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group (6th – 12th grade) offers fellowship opportunities, faith exploration in a relaxed atmosphere, and a safe environment to be yourself. Our activities range from Biblical conversations, to video games, to outdoor activities, to service trips.

To learn more, please contact Anita Smallin.
Men’s Group
Trinity Men’s Group is an opportunity for men in the congregation to meet and discuss topics of interest in a casual setting. We meet once each month (currently at 1:00pm on the second Wednesday of each month). Meeting location normally rotates between member’s homes, but, due to the pandemic, we are currently meeting via Zoom. All are welcome. Contact the church office for more details
Stephen Ministry

Trinity has a team of Stephen Ministers who are extensively trained in caring for individuals by providing one-on-one care to those experiencing difficult life transitions, such as: grief, divorce, job loss, or chronic or terminal illness. The caring relationship can last as long as the recipient desires and is completely confidential.
A Stephen Minister’s commitment is born of their love of Jesus and their desire to care for others in times of need. To find out more about Stephen Ministry, please contact Pastor Christine or a Stephen Leader.
